Dato’ Hajah Nafisah Binti Ahmad
Director General, National Library of Malaysia
|Dato’ Hajah Nafisah Ahmad is currently the Director General of The National Library of Malaysia, and has been working with libraries across the country for the past 30 years. She is also the President of the Association of Malaysian Librarians and was recently awarded Knight Companion by The Illustrious Order of Loyalty to the Royal House of Kedah for her excellent performance and services to Malaysian librarianship.
Prior to this, she served as Director of the National Digital Library Service (PERDANA) and a few previous leadership roles such as the Director of the Construction of the National Book Collection and Documentation and Deputy Director of the National Bibliography Centre. She started her career as a librarian under the Acquisitions Division, and has worked her way up playing a huge role in the emphasis of collection and documentation for cultural preservation to transforming libraries for the digital age.
Among the huge national projects that she was involved in was the development of the Main National Catalogue, was a member of the executive team for the International Islamic Digital Library, the director of the u-Pustaka project and many others. Her contributions to the knowledge and services sector earned her a Member medal by The Exalted Order of the Crown of Kedah in 2014, and two Excellent Service Awards in 1994 and 2004.
She holds a BSc (Hons) from the National University of Malaysia (Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Library and Information Science from the Institute of Technology MARA (UiTM).

Mr Hong Xiao CNKI China
|Obtained his MS from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2000 and his Senior Editor position in 2002. He has been the Director of Acta Pharmacologica Sinica for 11 years, and was the founder and Editorial Director of Asian Journal of Andrology as well as Family Medicines. During 2002-2006, he was the founder and director of Shanghai Information Center for Life Sciences, which is responsible for offering library and information service to Shanghai Institutes for Life Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences. During 2006-2012, he was the Deputy Editor-in-chief of Science Press, the General Manager of Science China Press, and the General Manager of Beijing Chinese Academic Journal Publishing Co.Ltd. He joined CNKI in 2012 and now is the vice president and associate editor-in-chief of Chinese Academic Journals (CD) Publishing Co.Ltd, and Director of Chinese Scientific Bibliometrics Research Center of CNKI. He is the winner of the 5th Chinese National Prize for Scientific and Technical Youth (1997) , and the 1st China Governmental Prize for Publishing: Elitist (2007). He has published more than 100 papers on scientific editing, bibliometric research, and digital publishing.

|As the Deputy Managing Director and Head of Sales & Marketing, SAGE Publications Asia-Pacific Pte Ltd, Rosalia is responsible for the strategic direction of textbook and library sales, as well as development and marketing within the Asia Pacific region. Her role also involves cooperating with our partners and about the future of big data and publishing including Open Access. She is passionate about publishing and which she sees as a means of educating the future leaders and researchers of the world.
Rosalia has previously worked for McGraw Hill, Pearson Education, Wiley and Elsevier and has experience in various aspects of publishing; from customer service and acquiring journals, books and journals/library sales to marketing and foreign rights management.

Ms Lee Cheng Ean
|Appointed the University Librarian of the National University of Singapore on 1 March 2014. She has oversight of the NUS Libraries comprising eight libraries and works in close collaboration with the NUS Central Administration and key stakeholders. She is leading change and currently working on transforming NUS Libraries to be a key partner in advancing scholarship and research.
Prior to this role, she served as Deputy University Librarian responsible for technical services including acquisitions, HR, finance and IT services. She held other leadership positions including Head, Serials and Technical Services. At the start of her career, she played key roles in automating acquisitions,circulation and serials management. She also had the opportunity to work as the quality service manager for NUS Libraries which made her a strong advocate for service excellence through process and service improvement.
She currently serves on several library advisory boards and participates actively in library alliances globally such as, International Alliance of Research Universities Librarians’ Contact Group, U21 Librarian Group, Pacific Rim Research Libraries and ASEAN University Network Libraries.
She holds a MA (Library and Information Science) from the Loughborough University, UK and BA (Hons) from the University of Malaya, Malaysia.
